As a teacher of English literature to urban high schoolers Dan Keenan saw families struggling with rising rents poor-quality apartment living and an inability to get ahead. Having come from financial struggles in his own family and upbringing and having purchased his first home while still in his 20s Dan learned the benefits of homeownership and has purchased several homes to rehab and resell. He has become a zealous advocate for homebuyers and owners.
In 2014 Dan became a realtor and began to serve the housing needs of his community. He has maintained his position as a high-school English teacher while working as a real estate professional. Dan likes to play basketball and baseball with his two nine-year-old boys and hike with his wife and two pre-teen daughters.
As a native Californian Dan has earned BAs in English literature and theology and a post graduate degree in education along with his real estate license. He serves as the family pastor at his local church and has led several youth missions teams to Mexico.
